The Information and Library Network Centre (INFLIBNET) is an Inter-University Centre of the UGC, Ministry of Education, Govt. of India. The Centre supports the scholarly community and HEIs through various projects and services. The Open Day is an annual event celebrating the INFLIBNET Centre's Foundation Day. This year, it will be held on 27th February 2026 to highlight the institution's milestones.
The purpose of the Open Day is to showcase the research activities and projects the Centre undertakes, providing visitors with an opportunity to learn about its achievements. It is also an opportunity for the Centre to engage and build relationships with the public, library and information science professionals, research administrators, and students. The Open Day provides a platform for the Centre to share its vision, mission, and strategies, demonstrating its commitment to innovation and technological development for the community. Furthermore, it allows visitors to meet the scientists and technical team behind the projects, ask questions, and gain a better understanding of the Centre's work.
